Vacancy available: we are hiring a commis chef in Chester County, South Carolina. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Day to day you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
