Lathe operator — Carmarthenshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Carmarthenshire, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
