We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Cross County, Arkansas. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
