Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tudun Wada, Kano State. Day to day you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
