Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Lee County, Mississippi. The job is on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Six days a week, one day off.
