Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Clayton County, Iowa. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. On the job you will handle: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
