Vacancy available: body shop technician (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a body shop technician in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will work at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains You should have: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
