Hydraulic crane operator wanted in Crawford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Crawford County, Illinois. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Six days a week, one day off.
