We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Lawrence County, South Dakota. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. The role involves wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
