Refrigeration technician — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints The role involves install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
