Aluminium tig welder • Greene County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Greene County, Alabama. You will work on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Performance bonus on top of base pay.
