HSE officer wanted in Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Clay County, Iowa. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
