Port container crane operator — Hanson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Hanson County, South Dakota. The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
