Great opportunity: pipe TIG welder (Pennsylvania)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
