Vacancy available: lift installation engineer (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Riverside County, California. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
