Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolder in Granville County, North Carolina. The job is at a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out Ideal candidate: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang 2+ years on the tools preferred.
