Site carpenter — Allegan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Allegan County, Michigan. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
