Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Santa Barbara County, California. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium We offer $8,250 per project plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
