Cement mason • Waseca County, Minnesota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Waseca County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
