Grill cook — Uvwie

Great opportunity: we are hiring a grill cook in Uvwie, Delta State. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies The role involves: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
