Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Larue County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
