Great opportunity: skimming plasterer (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Calderdale, England. On a typical shift you will mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £2,350 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
