Fabricator-welder wanted in St. Lawrence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in St. Lawrence County, New York. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish.
