Now hiring: gang bricklayer (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kiowa County, Colorado. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
