Rebar fixer — Wichita County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Wichita County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Meals and transport allowance provided.
