Now hiring: we are hiring a marble installer in Shelby County, Iowa. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Your main tasks: • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
