QC technician • Allen County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a QC technician in Allen County, Kentucky. You will be based at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits The role involves: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
