Articulated lorry driver — Beadle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Beadle County, South Dakota. You will be based at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Six days a week, one day off.
