Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Mason County, Michigan. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
