Join our team: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Smyth County, Virginia. You will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
