Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 2+ years on the tools preferred.
