Gas metal arc welder wanted in Carlisle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Carlisle County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy production line. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Full-time with occasional weekends.
