Health and safety supervisor — Clarendon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Clarendon County, South Carolina. Your main tasks: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
