Day to day you will trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; replace ABS, oxygen and crankshaft sensors; install alarms, immobilisers and central locking; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams; diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner; repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms.
