Now hiring: we are hiring a guest room attendant in Bedford County, Virginia. You will be based at a beach resort. Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in hotel housekeeping • Familiar with the colour-coded cleaning system • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines You will vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room; spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points; report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering; carry out turndown service in the evening. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $11,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
