Coating plant operator • Ukwa West, Abia State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Ukwa West, Abia State. You will be based at a powder coating unit. Day-to-day duties: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations You should have: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Rotating shifts.
