Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Rotating shifts.
