Fabrication workshop technician — Childress County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Childress County, Texas. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day to day you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
