Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Harper County, Kansas. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes 5+ years on the tools preferred.
