We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Denbighshire, Wales. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
