Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Green County, Wisconsin. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
