We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Montgomery County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
