Immediate opening: lift maintenance fitter (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Newton County, Texas. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 4+ years on the tools preferred.
