We are recruiting: structural MIG welder (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Meals and transport allowance provided.
