Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
