General labourer • Columbia County, New York

Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Columbia County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean You should have: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
