Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Harmon County, Oklahoma. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Meals and transport allowance provided.
