Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction labourer in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. The job is on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
