AC mechanic — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Washington County, Alabama. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Can read electrical and piping schematics On the job you will handle: • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
