Sheet metal welder — Lancaster County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lancaster County, South Carolina. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
